Climbing in coasteering involves scaling coastal cliffs, rock formations, and boulders using hands and feet for grip and support. Participants may encounter a variety of climbing challenges, including vertical ascents, traversing along narrow ledges, and navigating around obstacles such as sea caves or overhangs.

Swimming plays a crucial role in coasteering, allowing participants to traverse stretches of coastline inaccessible by land. They’ll also explore marine environments, such as sea caves, coves, and tidal pools. Swimming is sometimes necessary to navigate around headlands, rocky outcrops, or coastal features.

Jumping is one of the most exhilarating aspects of coasteering, providing participants with the opportunity to leap from cliffs, rocks, or other elevated platforms into the sea below. Jumping spots vary in height and difficulty, ranging from small jumps into shallow water to larger leaps from significant heights into deeper water.

“Our instructor took great care to suit our coasteering trip to the age and ability of our group along with the weather conditions. The equipment that we used was new and good quality. Myself and my two children (girl 15 and boy 13) had a fantastic time, it is such a fun way of exploring the coast. Thank you Chris!”

“We went coasteering down Lydstep which was absolutely amazing! Even did the biggest Jump, never of thought I would’ve done it (of course I made Chris prove it was safe by jumping first). If you are looking for a great day with friends or family in the sea, definitely recommend Pembrokeshire Coastal Adventure with Chris.”
